Jim Kenagy
George James (Jim) Kenagy was born in 1945 in Los Angeles, California. He is known for his research in ecophysiology and behavior of small mammals. ==Education==
Jim Kenagy graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in 1963, and he graduated with a degree in Zoology in 1967 at Pomona College in Claremont, California. Then he achieved his Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of California in Los Angeles in 1972. He held postdocs in Germany (at the Max Planck Institute for Behavioral Physiology), at UCLA, and at UC San Diego. In 1976, he joined the Department of Zoology at the University of Washington in Seattle, which became the Department of Biology in 2002. In 1995, he also became Curator of Mammals at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture.()
